Some people feel that I have a cushy existence. I work part time at two jobs and have lots of "holidays".
Well, in my lecturing job at a certain school in Singapore. Today was not a good one. The problem with lecturing is that you tend to meet people in their teens to young adult years who are troubled. Today I had to break up a fight... again.... this time, the perp actually kicked another student...:(
Yeah I got problem kid in my lecture class....da motherf***er.... :( He's quite a bully. I yelled so loud today, it was unlike anything I've ever done before... even in the games I play with some of you....:( Heck, the voice sounded so different I sorta wondered if it was even me doing the yelling.... Luckily for me, tech support was in a room beside mine so there were enough people to stop heads from butting.
Honestly, parents... if you are reading this. If you got problem kid who fights in school. You really need to take him in hand. If YOU can't deal with him, then send him to someone who can... like the army (I'm thinking military school here in countries with the option) or even to juvie. Please don't expect the lecturers/teachers to do your job for you. We aren't paid to manhandle your kids and if we do that, YOU might end up complaining.
I mean it is my karma to meet a lot of alpha type guys, but seriously, although I can handle a lot of the crap that goes with it.... I'm a generally peaceful person.. I'd rather NOT YELL. It's giving me mild headache to think about it when I'm typing now...
I am trying my best not to interfere or intervene in this case. 'Cos really, this kid looks like he's gonna need some serious help... for years. It will take time and its not something I wanna handle at all. I'm tired of all of it, and I wanna tell the universe to stop throwing people like that in my path. I have no idea why this is happening. Only that it has something to do with my karma and the lessons I have yet to learn.
Yeah well, sometimes the universe can't say what it wants directly...... bloody S***
